Some of the surface modelling options present in Rhino are not available in Grasshopper (out of the box). Components that come to mind are: Blend surface and Match surface. Other components such as Sweep1 or Sweep 2 rails and edge surface currently do not have options to specify continuity settings (position, tangency, curvature). And finally, it might be nice to adjust surface CV’s directly in Grasshopper for quick adjustments to non constrained (continuity matched) CV’s along a surface UV, control polygon, etc. This may help in the conceptual modelling stage to alter surfaces and to stay working on a parametric model as long as possible. Perhaps, in the further future, there could also be components to distribute CV’s on surfaces and curves in several ways.
