Hey everyone, I’m using this combo quite often and always wondered, why this handy, intuitive deselecting isn’t available.

you mean sub-object? just click on it again with ctrl+shift

The wish would be then ability to box Deselect sub-objects.
It’s convenient to Ctrl+Shift box select several pointcloud stray points in one stroke, but it’s not possible to box deselect some if you “overshoot” your selection.
