Facade Facing The Wrong Direction/Position

Hi, I was wondering if you guys could help me with this. So, I was hoping to make a room with windows facing the east and west directions. Those windows are coming with a joint overhang on each side, as shown in the picture. I initially made the facade in the wrong direction (facing north) and when I changed the algorithm, the facades looked weird and wrong. The slats were supposed to be on the front, not inside. So, my goal is to get the same result as the original facade I made (facing north) when applied to the desired direction (east and west).

Thank you so much.

Orient plane?

I’m sorry, what do you mean?

Have a look at the attachment.

Hi, thank you so much for helping me out, I really appreciate that. I was wondering if I wanted the facade/slat to be on the west and east side only, what component/changes should I make? Thank you.

Hi, Kim. Thanks again! Sorry to bother you, I wanted to ask, do you have any idea how to differentiate the overhang height, since it’s different from the room height (the overhangs are a bit lower and positioned above the windows). Since I didn’t use component “Box” to create the room and it’s a bit complicated, in other words, it the algorithm should stay the same and can’t be changed, so I tried to use the extrude of a combination from rectangle and boundary as the base surface and connected it to the “Deconstruct Brep”. However, the overhangs turned into triangles and became very odd. Do you hany solution regarding this issue?
