Extrude a sub d friendly curve in sub d

I have not used sub d for awhile and I forgot how to extrude a sub d friendly curve. I am modeling a airplane and need to make the fuse in sub d.

when you select you subd friendly curve if not then of course make it friendly then extrude. in the extrude command you can check the subd output option.

I tried but I don’t see where it allow me to select a curve. I use go to an icon but I can’t remember which one. Can you tell me? Or can I send the file for you to take a look at?
