Exterior perspective, "Dyer Pavilion"

This is one of the final images I made for a “theoretical” architecture project (meaning one that is unreal, unbuilt, and characterized by concerns that are not usually–or ever–motivations for an architectural undertaking), largely modeled in Rhino 7. I worked on it for several years in my spare time (in fact, the earliest modeling was in Rhino 6). The rendering here is an odd combination of layered custom viewport display modes captured and exported from Rhino as PNG files, “arctic” Rhino Renders, and site photographs, all collaged and pixel-scrubbed in Photoshop. I used Adobe’s AI, Firefly, to generate some basic tiling textures for the materials in the model, including the simpler graffiti on the steel and masonry, while more specific textures are decals applied in Rhino or else post-production “perspectival” paintings carried out in Photoshop.
