Hello,
I am new to the Subd commands, How to extend subd surrounding edge 1 mm like ribbon command? I tried extrude but the result is out of control, or I just drag every single point which is slow.

Use ExtrudeSubD with the Basis=UVN and Direction=V
Note that the new edge will be creased by default, so you’ll have to use RemoveCrease to get a smooth transition.
