Hey folks - I am getting a “plug-in failed” warning when trying to export to DWG. The file that I am trying to export has contour information and PDFs in addition to linework layers.
I have tried the 2007 Natural scheme and a custom 2004 scheme suggestions from different foruma but nothing seems to work. (I cannot share the file as it has confidential information.)
Any suggestions on what to try? Thank you in advance!

Hi Valeria - please run SystemInfo
in Rhino and copy/paste ther results here…
Does export work in a clean new file with only say, a rectangle added?
-Pascal
Thank you for the response, Pascal. It does export in a clean way with just a rectangle. The results of that command are below:

So, we would need to see the file - you can send confidential files to tech@mcneel.com , with a link back to this topic inn your comments.
If you want to troubleshoot yuourself, I would select half of the objects in the file and Export - if that works, hide the objects and select half of the remaining objects, etc until it fails. If is fails, hide everything else, and then cut the remaining part in half until you find the object(s) that stop the export.
You can also work by layers - selecting a layer and exporting, to start the narrowing process.
On Mac, I think Export exports the whole file as I recall, I do not have my mac here - so use ExportSelected for testing.

I’m having a similar problem when trying to Export a file to DWG. I get the error in the image bellow and although the file is created it has 0 bytes.
I moved over to Rhino on windows and I’m able to save the file. Yet, I still get an error warning stating that some objects were skipped. The command line report states that there are 2 skipped hatches and some other object. The command line output contains some strange lines that are related with block information.

I am also having this issue.
File to large to upload (36.5MB)…maybe that is the issue?

Actually, it seems my issue is resolved after exploding all blocks, purging, and using export selected.
