FEA software like femap for example has these options for importing geometry. They state their kernel is based on the parasolid kernel from solidworks?
The geometery is meshed within femap. I am not aware of a path to mesh in Rhino/GH and then import that.
Hello - I am not sure what your question is - are you exporting solids and surfaces? If so, probably stp/step is the first thing to try.

Yes exporting surfaces. Thickness is ascribed in the FEA tool. Seems step is the way to go. Thank you again for all the import/export options!
