Export toolbar icons to where?

Maybe this isn’t hooked up yet?

image

I would expect a browser to open to let me save the icon to a location of my choice. But that isn’t happening (yet). Does the icon save somewhere by default? Or is it too early to play around with this?

Thanks,

Dan

Hi Dan, here in the latest, you do get a file browser from this menu item to save the svg…

-Pascal

Hi Pascal,

I will watch for it in the next release. I’ve found what I believe to be a pretty good SVG editor and I want to test it with existing icons. It’s called Vectr if you’re interested in checking it out. So far seems pretty easy to use.

Thanks,

Dan

Hi Pascal,

I just checked, and in this weeks WIP I still am not getting a file browser when trying to export an icon image.

Thanks,

Dan

Hi Dan - I see,… could it be opening behind the main window somehow.? … Can you please post the results of the Rhino command SystemInfo?

-Pascal

Hi Pascal,

I don’t see the browser opening behind anything. Here is my system info:

I disabled my AVCommands plug-in but the toolbar icon exporter still doesn’t pop open a browser.

Thanks,

Dan

@JohnM - do you have an idea what might be happeing here? Exporting an SVG from a macro does not show a File Save dialog for Dan. Works here, as far as I can see.
