Export to IFC (Edge Colors)

Hi to all,

I like to export Rhino Surface entity to IFC.I have no problems to achieve it through IfcCovering or IfcProxy. I also manage to export Surface Colour through Rhino Layer Colour.
But I’m wondering is there an option to export Rhino Surface Edge Colour to IFC since I can’t see the Surface Edges in my IFC Viewer?

Hi @007 there is no parameter in IFC to store the color of object edges. There is is only one for the object color. So it depends on the IFC viewer capabilities to see the geometry with the object edges in a different color, like what you can do in Rhino.
