Would be possible to export 3D models to 3D pdf format without plugin like SIMLAB?
We have no plans to write our own.
Let the Simlabs developers know you’re interested in a Mac Rhino version.

There is an other way to do it and you need photoshop and acrobat pro for this.
I’m using the Dutch version of Photoshop so I’ve to translate the commands.
Save your drawing from Rhino into .3ds .
Import in Photoshop- window- 3D render for export-
Export layer as .3uD.
Acrobat pro- make pdf of empty page.
Window-options-multimedia-3D tool
and make a selection on empty page.
