Export revit elements to rhino by material

I’ll need export revit elements to rhino and do rendering. so I need export revit by material or by different type at least. for now I export revit elements by category, but it lose the different types under same category. Thanks.

In general baking the Revit Element does bring the materials and type information with it.

thanks Japhy,I’m learing and using definition like below to export to revit. I’m wondering how to assign material to geometries. Because geometries have no material. Many thanks.

It’s going to depend on your how the Materials are applied to your Revit Elements.

Ideally you are controlling everything with Object Styles and you can match geometry with materials easily.

Good day Chris,

The easiest way is to bake your Materials into Rhino, then assign to your Rhino attributes.
