Exploded view drawing

Good morning,
I would like to ask some questions for using Rhinoceros to create “Exploded view drawing” for Spare Parts Catalogs.
I would like to have some instructions about how to create exploded views: in particular if it is necessary to explode the various blocks at the upper level before getting to select the desired component.
Also if there is a “Find” command to select a component by searching the P / N.

If you are dealing with blocks, you will have to explode them, yes.

Also if there is a “Find” command to select a component by searching the P / N.

Depending on how you have organized your model, you can either find objects by their Name or, perhaps, use SelKeyValue if you have assigned key-value pairs in the attribute user text.
