Error - Volume that does not support permanent version storage

User will get an error when saving to the server “some File Name”.3dm is on a volume that does not support permanent version storage.
User was not having issue before migrating from older hardware with 10.8.5 to a new computer running 10.8.5 via Migration Assistant.
Now randomly and inconsistently customer will get an error when saving to the server “some File Name”.3dm is on a volume that does not support permanent version storage.
Customer will need to save the file as another name to be able to save the file on the server.

Setup information
Rhinoceros 5.0 for Mac OS Observed 7/28/2014 date only, did not observe a build number.
(OS X 10.9.5 -13F1077) and Server app ( 3.2.2 13S5187)
Storage drive formatted with Extended Journaling
File share protocol is set as with AFP.

From my experience, I only got that when working with Rhino files on a USB drive. I haven’t had it in a while even when using external HDs. You shouldn’t get this with any drive that Time Machine can use. Maybe see if Time machine can use your drive that is giving you this message.
