I try to import a vector PDF file and get the following message: Error reading file (…)-- file is encrypted.
Does anybody know a work around to be able to import the file?

Open the PDF in Acrobat.
Use the “Unlock” tool: Choose “Tools” > “Protect” > “Encrypt” > “Remove Security.”
If you don’t have the password, ask the author for a non-encrypted version.
