Hi @Japhy … This might also help understand the reasons for wanting to manipulate analytical lines in Revit.
There are 3rd Party Tools that read/export from Analytical line models in Revit to Structural analysis models.
Would be great to fix structural beam nodding… Start & End points of columns / beams to have them node before using such 3rd Party Plugins.

Hi @Japhy ,
Hope you are well, just seeing if we have any guidance on when we might be able to move the Analytical Line models with RIR in Revit 2023+
Currently i am doing this process in Dynamo. Would be great to be able to do this also in Grasshopper.
Here is a Autodesk resource of the process script.

Regards Chris Pires
This would be great to be able to do
@kike & @Japhy
Thanks
Would help a lot with analytical workflows from Revit to analysis.

Hi Christopher,
The timeline on new RiR components is subject to the dev priorities/workload, there are weekly fixes and some components being added but the majority of the focus at the moment is on Rhino 8 integration (GH1 components) & stop ship items. Hard for me (and the devs) to say when that will change to allow more work on highly requested Revit API components such as the Analytical, MEP Systems & Curtain Walls.

Hi Chris,
While the RIR components are being developed, we can make use of the Revit API through python or C# to update the analytical curve.
Since Revit API has the “SetCurve” method for versions 2023 onwards.
Here’s an example of that using python in RIR.

Can you please tell me what revit version these nodes are for? 2023/2024 and newer?
I have updated RIR but I don’t have them for revit 2022.

I updated revit to version 2022.1.8?
I have updated RIR to version 1.27 but I don’t have new nodes to work with analytics.
