Hi everyone!
I have been testing Rhino 8 for an hour and the first thing I noticed is that the edge lines look a little sloppy. Screenshot attached.
I opened the very same file with Rhino 7 to show you the difference. Screenshot right below
I´ve been trying to figure out what´s wrong fiddling with different options on the Rhino menu but so far I haven´t found the solution. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks a lot in advance
Hi
I expect this is the same problem here
RH-78744 Display: Curve drawing quality
Thanks a lot for your prompt reply MR_Rhino,
yes, that´s exactly my issue. As I can read from other users, it appears to be a general feeling of dissatisfaction pertaining to this topic.
Is there actually anything we could do? if not, I suppose it´s up to McNeel to fix such things.
Thanks a lot again for your help

There is no fix for this yet, but what can help is to change your curve thickness with this test command:

Thanks a lot Gijs de Zwart,
I just tried it our but it looks like the lines remain exactly the same. Let´s hope McNeel fixes this thing sooner rather than later.
Cheers!

Can you run _SystemInfo in Rhino and post back the results?
What mode are you running?
This is what I see in Arctic+Surface Edges:
Sure, there you go:
This is what it looks like on my computer:
the edges still look a little jagged. I tried a few other ways but it seems it´s a Rhino 8 issue

You need to update your graphics card
That may very well be the reason why as well
Thanks a lot for the feedback
