If you are getting this error it is most often because you put the mesh folders in a linked location that is not local…i.e. a google drive, or dropbox.
Make the folder local (i.e. desktop) and try again. If this does not work, then it may be the sim is crashing before beginning.
If you are talking about the issue Michael had regarding the folders, the examples are embedded into the program so it knows wheere to find them. Make sure your folders are local and not in the cloud.
Thank you for the reply, it is indeed on my machine as local file.
Could you please check the VisProbes component? Cuz it seems like most of the users counter a problem with it.
I am having this problem for the interior example as well. I have tested out other outdoor example and it works its just the VizProbs in indoor example wouldn’t work. I was able to run simulation.
Hi, I want to use Eddy for my thesis, and I already ran it on my computer that is not working properly, I am trying to run it on another computer now, I appreciate if there is help from the installation process that I can make sure I am doing the right things to avoid any trouble
We have a known issue with the VizProbes Component in the indoor example in the Eddy Beta. Our developer (Zoe) who made the indoor component has to fix that portion. I am sorry I cannot help on that end until she fixes it. I’ll bug her again.
I cannot help you unless you tell me what the issues are, if you are having any. If you install the program as directed from our website @ https://www.eddy3d.com/support/documentation/ then it should work. If it does not work, then please clearly tell me your issues here as shown in our website : Support - Eddy3D
Thanks so much. I am told a fix has been made, and the team is waiting for the release of a new version to implement it. I asked about an ETA and at this point there is none, but it is being planned diligently. I will update you when I know more. Also applies to @amaraa .
