the settings do usually stay like the last usage. imagine your parameters are set and for a repetitive task you need to click 4 times instead of twice like 100 times. I think it’s a very important workflow thing once you get used to rhino, but to get to know all possibilities from a command, you better learn by not preselecting. so beginners and advanced users don’t have to bear the weight of the other group.
