Hi,
I have a strange behaviour. When I use the dot line type, it disappears when I zoom in consequently in top view, and in the page layout.
Is this some kind of bug or a misuse on my part?
Thanks!

Hi Pipouille -
I’m not seeing that here:
Note that I’ve increased the width of all curves in this clip, but I’m not seeing anything completely disappear when they are set to 1px. Does that line also disappear for you when you increase the width of that livetype?
Could you run the Rhino SystemInfo
command and copy-paste the output here?

Hi Wim,
Thanks for checking. Here you will find the SystemInfo
. In linetype settings, width is 1.00 Pixels.
It seems that PrintDisplay
is on in the video, isn’t it? The problem occurs on my computer with PrintDisplay
off.

Hi Pipouille -
No, I’m not using PrintDisplay
. I had increased the width for the linotypes, and was wondering if, when you do that, the dots are visible for you.

Hi Wim,
Indeed, if I set the line parameters to 5 pixels or 1mm. I see them constantly.
So it’s just a display difficulty. The dots get lost if they’re too thin, and it seems that the basic settings are too thin for my screen. I was involved in a drawing and sometimes I couldn’t see the dotted lines. So I’m going to make them thicker. Strange that it’s only for the dotted lines and not the others, though.
Thanks for your time on this!
Best,
Pip
