Hello,
I wonder if Rhino 8 runs natively on Intel Macs, or if it relies on some Rosetta2 style software, which slows down the process.
So, should I change an Intel Macbook 2020 for an Apple Silicon Mac in order to avoid a slowed down version of Rhino8?
Rhino 8 for Mac runs natively on Intel Macs. It’s what’s called a Universal Binary, which means it runs a different executable “slice” depending on the chip architecture. (This is not the case for Rhino 7 for Mac, which is Intel native only).
