Divide Domain not taking a surface contour into consideration?

Hello.

I have curved surface, yet Divide Domain2 cannot follow it’s contour. Am I doing something stupid:

Your surface must be trimmed, which means its domain goes further than its boundaries.
You have to rebuild the surface from its edges, using NetworkSrf or Loft, so it’s untrimmed. Then your division will work.
