Display trouble Version 8

Version 8 SR15 (8.15.25019.13001, 2025-01-19)

hope this is posted in the correct place…

Does anybody know why I might be having display issues with any mode but wireframe ? what happens is if I select shade mode a simple item will shade but if I move the view at all the object will go to wireframe view even though shade mode is still selected. I either have to select the object again or select shaded mode off and on again… I did recently load most recent update.

update, isolated it to a SubD object

It sounds like that SubD object may have had a problem that was interfering with the creation of the render mesh.
Any chance you still have a copy of that object?
My guess is it would be helpful for the developers to see if they can figure out what the problem is.

I just redrew it

Also I did send in e-mail to support a screen capture video showing the occurrence later on after the forum post when I realized I could isolate the problem I was experiencing.

Hi Wudwerkz -
I suppose you will be getting help from eMail support and I’m just going to ask the same questions…
Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the output here.
