Display Bug Using Yellow Color

Not sure if this is known thing or not but when you use yellow for objects on the screen selection becomes quite difficult as the select highlight color doesn’t change to something else, black, magenta, whatever. The geometry gets selected but you really can’t tell that it has been.

I’m running a 2006 MacPro, OS 10.7.5, 3GHz Quad Core Xeons, 16GB RAM, and a Radeon HD 5870.

Haven’t tried it on the 17" MacBook Pro but will do that later tonight.

It is the same on Windows. As yellow is the “Selection color”, it is generally advised not to use it for any geometry objects because of possible confusion.
