Hi,
I have two points in 3d space and wish to place a dimension between them.
daft as it may sound, I have never had need of this, until now, whilst trying to scale one item to match another needing to match distance S1 S2 to T1 T2.
is there no dimension command that places a dim between two points in perspective view ?
I need ‘as the crow flies’ dim.
perhaps it should be called CrowDim !

You can check this topic. There are several more topics if you search the forum.
If I have a 3d model and want to measure the distance between two arbitrary points - there’s no tool that gives the dimension with leaders, so now I can’t:
a.) Confirm that the dimension is in the correct place.
b.) Screenshot the dimension to send to someone.
Linear dimension not a problem:

But what about these two points:

Yes I can Analyze → Dimension but there’s no leader (see issues 1 & 2 above). Is it possible to get a tool that does this?

I proposed that 3-click dimensions years ago, but this is yet to be implemented… Maybe in Rhino 10 or Rhino 11…
