After months of designing, modeling, and refining fabrication files, the Sonic Sphere was successfully installed at The Shed in NYC! Seeing a project go from digital concept to physical reality is always rewarding. *
This was a team effort, and I was honored to contribute my expertise in fabrication modeling. Every panel, joint, and detail had to be engineered for seamless assembly, and seeing it come together was proof that precision pays off!
@CADARTZ i wonder who deleted the post about the licences then? if that is a pirated version why would an admin delete it? or is there something we dont know.
by all honesty, such a project costs a huge amount of money, to pay your price to the people that made your dreams come true which the developers of Rhino are certainly part of should just make you sleep better in believe that you did your duty.
i mean isn´t that somehow embarrassing to show off such a lovely project but completely oblivious to the fact that you are abusing the system?
It’s a cool looking project, but not paying the 1000 bucks to buy the software to make it all possible is very lame. It looks like it must have cost a good 5 digit amount of money for parts and labor, if not 6 digits and the cost of the software would have been almost negligible..
I am also a bit confused as it sounds like it was just installed, but on the Shed’s instagram it said “Last chance to journey into the heart of music with Sonic Sphere, a captivating multisensory spherical concert hall suspended in air!” 85 weeks (so a year and half) ago!?
