Customizeable Shingle/Tile on Curved Roof

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well. I’m trying to create a tile/shingle roof on a curved surface with the tiles/shingles being adjustable. I’ve attached the Curved Surface and an example of what I’m trying to do. I’ve tried using other posts like this one https://discourse.mcneel.com/t/dividing-surface-curves-independently-placing-shingles/101762 but no luck when linking my surface.

Help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you for your help.
