As the title says, I’m having a problem where modifying a custom mapping object isn’t updating the target, even after reloading the file, I have to remove and reapply the mapping. I didn’t think that was how that worked…
Hi Jim - that is how it has always worked - applying the UV from the custom object is a one-time operation that gets the current UVs, but there is no connection established to the custom object- you can delete the custom object and the mapping on the target object will remain intact.
