Curves visible behind surface

I’ve run into this situation several times now, but am have difficulty reproducing it so I’ll just describe it. Sometimes I have curves that are slightly (1/16") behind a surface, but somehow they are still visible. Sometimes if I zoom in or orbit around, it will hide the curve, but sometimes it is really stubborn. I’ve found that saving and reopening the file seems to help for a while. Is there a better and more permanent solution?

Hi Lawrence - see if TestZBiasFactor > Less helps.
