Curtain Wall Grid

Hi Japhy,
Thank you for your help with this matter.
I’ve tried to test the example above but I get only nulls from the Python component, and therefore can’t see any changes in the Revit file, is there anything I should check?

My aim is to create a curved curtain wall that I could divide based on the uneven vertical divisions in this example here, do you know of a better workaround to achieve this?

Thank you very much, your work is highly appreciated!

Hi Yo_Ro,

Can you provide more info on the issue you’re having?

Everything looks OK here.

Hi Japhy,
Thank you for the reply.
Unfortunately, I get only NULLS when using the script-

I don’t know what may cause the issue, maybe it is related to the curtain wall configuration in Revit? Do you know of any settings I should review in Revit?

Many thanks,
Yoav

If you toggle the True/False (Horizontal/Vertical) are you getting the expected result? What are your units in Rhino & Revit?

The toggle has no effect - True/False the result is still Null.
The units are Centimeters. I’ve also tried MM.

Has someone been able to apply this in mm? Tried my best to find a way but had no luck, just in feet.

Here is a version that will work in any Units.

Beautiful, thank you very much!

Thank you Japhy it works great!

Hi, Japhy

Is there an update to this script where we have the option to place on “All Segments”, “One Segment”(I can only place one segment on a specific panel) and “All except picked”?. This gives users much more ease and range in the curtain wall patterns they can make .

1.All Segments

2.One Segment

Hi Attheeast18,

The scripted version is the only version available. Having a native component is highly requested but is also going to have more complexity than typical components, hence the delay.

Hi, Japhy

Thanks for the reply. Would the upcoming component have that option to just add a “All”, “One” and “All Except” segments? We understand the delays. Thanks for the plugin you guys are really great!
