Going a little crazy. Suddenly the Ctrl+f1 and Ctrl+f3 not working. Tool→keyboard all looks intact. Reset to defaults anyway. Checked logi software, and no conflicts. Ctrl+f2 and Ctrl+f4 work fine…max front view and max perspective. Tested keyboard….keys work. Looking at command history and the key strokes never register anything. Newest rhino 8 update. So…going a little crazy.
Hi, @Jeff5. Did you get this resolved? Let’s us know. Cheers!
Hi Steve, no. I don’t know what it is. Ctrl+f2 and f4 maximize front and perspective. Ctrl+f1 and f3 don’t maximize top or right. Tried to see if it was a Logitech issue. Just don’t know, I use a different workflow now. thx
Sounds good. If you want to do a few quick tests…
- Start Rhino 8 in Safe Mode and see if the problem persists.
This will point to a possible plugin conflict, if the problem goes away in Safe Mode. - Also, you can run the Windows app called
OSKand selectCTRL,FN, andF1.
This will bypass your Logitech keyboard and tell you if it’s something in your keyboard setup. - Uninstall your Logi software completely, and see if the problem persists.
This will confirm if your keyboard control software is the culprit.
No luck, I can’t find the conflict so I remapped some things. It’s a better setup. Thanks-j
