Create line from point divided

Hi All,
I have two curves are polyline and I divided them by distance, then create Line from two points. But it not same as I want.

  1. How I can make line same as red line in pictures?
  2. Or If I have one red line at corner: How I can copy it from along one curve (polyline) by distance?
    Thanks so much!

It seems that the polylines have different directions so try flipping one of them. Also make sure that the seams of both curves are aligned.
