My guess - these are artefacts of the Analysing-Mesh.
To calculate the zebra-Stripes, a underlying mesh is used (that is different from the render mesh)
check the help for zebra command
the missing step is the “Adjust Mesh” button in the pop up dialog.
there is more info about adjusting the mesh here
notice that some of the values for mesh setting will have exponential influence on the amount of generated polygons. quite obvious example:
Maximum edge length from 1 to 0.1 will 100x the number of polygons.
Maximum distance, edge to surface is the most important parameter.
