I’m getting a seemingly consistent issue with the last release R8 and the “Release Candidate” I just tried today where double-clicking on a file in Explorer to open it crashes, but loading from an open Rhino is fine. My associate seems to have more-or-less the same experience but not exactly?
Hey @JimCarruthers - I’m not seeing any crash reports submitted with your email address. Anything else you can provide might be helpful.

Hi Dale I did send a few from one of my addresses…

@JimCarruthers - yeah nothing, sorry.
Next time you crash, zip the .dmp and send it to me (Rhino Accounts).
Why are you doing this? I’m not seeing any 3rd party plug-ins that require this.
– Dale
Looks like disabling Bongo stopped it…my associate is still getting them more randomly?
It was due to some old Python scripts that I haven’t tried to update yet.
Is this something we can help with?
And make sure to send in the .dmp file, not the .3dm file.
Thanks,
– Dale
I would have to look into that…I think it was stuff making heavy use of connecting to Excel and the like.
