Hello, Do you have any ideas on simulating cracks and their evolution over time in a building, particularly using Karamba3D?

Currently Karamba3D can perform linear elastic analysis only.
With you can visualize the principal stress directions in plates and shells which gives a hint as to how the cracks will be oriented in brittle materials like concrete or brick. By limiting the preview to the first principal stresses which are larger than the tensile strength, zones of cracking can be identified.
It is however not possible to track the change of stresses in the structure due to cracking.
