This is a behavior that I’m pretty sure has existed forever but it occurs to me that maybe it doesn’t need to be the case?
Objects that have a unique self-identified gumball coordinates/orientation (derived from somewhere? the originating planes or some such?) … don’t pass it on to their copies.
By all appearances - this unique Align to Object state can’t be duplicated - the copies don’t inherit that property. I’ve always understood it to be that under various conditions Rhino can’t be expected to know what a users view of the proper axes that any particular object should be aligned upon should be - but in this particular case it seems like the information could travel downstream?

Interested if this can be changed in software or settings or if anyone has insights on why it logically can’t be.
