Connectivity of Zero-Length springs

Hello,

I am designing a stiffened shell structure with Karamba.
However, the stiffeners are not fully clamped and degrees of freedom have to be released with respect to the shell. I guess the best way to model this is to use springs with zero length. I was inspired by the tutorials on this subject.
Unfortunately, I’m not able to merge/duplicate the right points and get the right spring connectivity (3 points at the same place). In my example, the springs are placed between the beam parts when the beams should be continuous and be released from the shell (Definition is attached)

Thanks in advance for your help!

@nico.leduc,
in this example it is I think easier to work with node indexes instead of the duplicate node assignment machanism of the Assemble-component since there are three groups of elements involved (shell, rib, spring). Here is my try at solving the problem: ZeroLengthSpring_cp.gh (34.8 KB).

Thank you very much. That’s exactly what I was trying to do.
