Hello everyone
For the past two days, I have been trying to find a stable and simple solution to model the connection point between two profiles standing in space in an attractive way.
To illustrate this, I have created two ellipses here, but in principle it should also work with 3D splines as a path.
I would be very grateful if anyone could help me.
Many thanks and best regards

can you sketch over this with your desired result?
many ways to solve this but they all depend on what you want as a result.

Thanks for the quick reply
Unfortunately, it’s a bit difficult to draw, but I’ll try. Both rings should be bent so that they form a smooth common surface.
EDIT:
I tried to sketch it out

one way to think about this,
make a solid shape, project curves onto it to make your outer surface, trim where appropriate,
then use solid offset to the inside at your preferred thickness.

Thank you so much for your help,
the think is this works for some parts, but in some areas i want to have curved supportprofils where i cant cut linear.
EDIT:
I want to have a spline (red) which connects the yellow dots and ajust to the profiles it is “cutting“

connecting the edges to a surface edge may work better using blend curves instead of trying to make a spline.
