I am buying a new computer for work, and I’ll be using it model with Rhino and render with Vray (as well as AutoCAD and Sketchup). I’ve been researching video cards, but the information is disparate and inconsistent. I figured I could list the builds and see what the consensus is regarding performance.
My budget is $1,200, but I am open to a small increase if it provides massive improvement.
Is it worth the upgrade from NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB GDDR6 to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6? I don’t have a clue about the relevancy of RTX vs GTX… I apologize for my immense confusion!
