I can’t find the command from GH7 - Component Generator in GH8
That does not seem to be a built-in Grasshopper component in Rhino 7 nor 8. Maybe the plugin you installed which is providing it is not getting loaded in Rhino 8. You can get more info on where this component comes from by right-clicking on its icon and selecting “Component Info”.

This is a screen from the video tutorial, not from my installation RH7.
This is not an official tutorial for Grasshopper, this is something made to promote and explain the third-party plugins published by the website thedifferentdesign.com. The video says that the “Component Generator” plugin is available to premium members of that website.
