In this model, 3D-model on the left, clipping plane drawing on the right.
When using left drag window over the clipping drawing, it also selects part of the model. Those parts seem to be grouped (in the 3D model). This must be some kind of bug in the clipping drawing generation. The clipping drawing should be 100% disconnected from the 3D-model (I presume) … ?

This post also shows a behaviour that is quite irritating …
The insertion point of the clippingdrawing is “the center” of whatever geometry is included. Meaning that if the extents of the geometry changes, “the center” changes. Meaning that it is virtually impossible to insert a new clippingdrawing on exactly the same spot.
What if some geometry needs to be added manually afterwards?
And why on earth is the clippingdrawing always inserted according to the wcs? It should of course be inserted to whatever construction plane being active. And updates should be to the same position.
Both these things are MAJOR issues making life very complicated.
