Hi all,
I’ve found an inconsistency with the behavior of clipping plane depth in Rhino , which is making it difficult to set up sheets.
I’m drawing plans at different Z heights such that my plans are arranged at their actual elevations above 0. I’ve set up clipping planes to clip each, so that nothing above shows, and nothing below 1m depth shows. However, I’m getting random lines below the clip depth appearing in the clipping plane, even after using EditClippingDrawings and turning background off.
For example, I’ve set up the clipping plane PLN_L02, which should be empty except for the magenta outlines. However, many lines at elevation 0 are showing in both the detail in layout A-L02 and the clipping plane viewport A-PLN_L02. This continues on clipping planes PLN_L03 and PLN_L04 as well.
I end up with this in the viewport clipped by PLN_L02:
When in reality, it should look like this:
My clipping planes are set up like this, with a clip depth of 1m. These pick up random curves beyond the clip depth at any depth, including 0.
Has anyone encountered this issue before or know how to fix? I’m attaching a demo rhino file with viewports and layouts set up so that others may recreate the issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
