no matter which Display Mode as soon as I a draw a clipping plane some shadows get casted , have tried all the properties under Clip

Hi, run SystemInfo and paste data here.
And supply an as simple example file as possilbe that fails at your end.
Those black areas does not look like shadows though, but rather like annotation arrows, can that be the case?
