Chair-design: cad in rhino; rendering with Vray,

hi,

I’m quite fond of the gallery category. It’s allways interesting to see what other people do with rhino; So I decided to post a personal project: a chair design, for a product design competition. Modeled in Rhino, rendered with vray.

I also did a 1:1 prototype; maybe If there is interest; I have some pictures of that aswell

Very “clean” understated (hope it is a good traduction) design. It changes from sophisticated, hard to clean 3d printing things.

Nice work. Beautiful detail of the leg crossing the seat.

Yes please do I’d like to see that detail irl. Also a wireframe view of the model might be interesting.

well done!

Can you please share some info about 3Dprinting?

I don`t know; the chair or the model are not 3d printed; the model is partly handmade, partly cnc milled out of stryofoam

Good render :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s simple. good.

Nice chair design!
Did you think as well about the assemlby details. A execution drawing with section, asembly details and dimensions would interesting to see. Or an exploded view.
