Can't split body

Hey guys, I’m encountering a problem and don’t know what’s happening. I want to split this laptop stand I have made along the flat surface I have created to give it an angle, but when I use either the Split or BooleanSplit tool nothing actually happens. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction as to why it is not working?? Thanks.

I have attached file on my cloud storage as it’s over 20MB.

Self-intersecting surfaces and overlapping geometry are a sure way to run into trouble. You’ll have to clean that up - most likely in the stage where you are generating the curves.

Sometimes WireCut will just slice through the lot ! (I havent had time to try it on your file) as Wim says, you may have to go back and clean some stuff up
