Hello - yeah it does look like it ought to join there - I’ll put this in the developers pile for a look, thanks. That said though, a Loft between the two rail curves looks like the simpler way to get this surface.
Actually on a closer look, your line does not touch both rails at the top -
clean that up and it ought to work.
