hey guys im trying to build a building in rhino using visual ark but thing are all out of wack as everything looks to big for what it should be. and when i dimension something i get a different dimension then what i put in help. i included a pic of my issues the 172’ dim should be 160’. but the 12" is correct but is to thick.
If you are just investigating how large something is, it is probably more straight forward to use the Distance command instead of Dim. Dimensions can have a scale factor applied to them, and often are set to a tolerance lower than what you are modeling in. If you need further help, it might be best to post the file itself.
Not sure if you just mis-typed the tick mark, but that thickness is actually shown as 12’ (feet), not 12" (inches).
