I just bought an V7 to V8 upgrade. To enter the serial I have to put an RH80… first. It used to be visible upon a load, now it gone. Where i can find it?
Never mind, i found it, but it is not letting me to insert serial number. It’s just endless loop of inserting email address and the licence key. What’s next?
Did you add your licence here?
https://www.rhino3d.com/licenses?controller=home
Yep, my licence is there.
Try to remove your current licence, reboot your machine and then open rhino 7/8 again and use your login to connect the licence.
I have done this, but where do I enter the serial number to fully validate the licence?
Hi Ricardo
We nut fully understand each other I guess
I have a licence and serial numbers but Rhino is still counting my days before it get’s expired, which, I think it should stop doing by now. My V8 didn’t ask me to enter the serial at any time.
You did get an evaluation licence before? That’s a new info…
Anyway, whenever it expires, if you see your licence in rhino3d.com, you will just need to be logged with that same account here
and it should work.
Ok, thanks! Not so clear from my point of view but i hope it will continue working beyond the expiry date.
Hi Piotr -
I’m not sure how you are set-up. I see a Rhino 8 evaluation in your personal cloud zoo and there is a commercial license in the “PART Projektering” cloud zoo that you are a team member of, together with one other person.

I know it is a little convoluted. I am part of the PART, but I keep my Rhino licences assigned to my personal mail as it has always been for many years. Is this a problem for you or me?
I tend to fail miserably when I have to read between the lines…
I read that as “a license you bought; not something that PART is involved with”.
If that is so, I don’t see your personal Rhino 8 license anywhere.
In any case, if you run into licensing issues, please contact the office.
