Can DirectShape be asigned material that will show up in section

Is it possible to assign a material to a directshape so that it will show up in sections? I am trying to create a cocrete block that will show a concrete hatch pattern when cut. I’ve tried assigning a parameter via an “add parameter” component, but didnt seem to change the graphics.

Hi Daniel, It’s a limitation in Directshapes that they can only be given (if they are a cuttable category) a section hatch by overriding the entire Category.
