There seem to be a problem with DirectShape objects and materials : whichever material I set, its cut pattern doesn’t seem to be displayed at all… Surface patterns works fine.
Can you reproduce this ?
It could be related to this issue, but not sure…

Correct, you can only set the cut hatch globally for Direct Shapes in the object style of that category.

Ok so kind of “not a bug”, thanks for the reply.
It’s a bit disappointing as it makes us loose a lot of Revit graphic flexibility, but we’ll work around that
